Problematic Thermostat


Called to service 1970-80 170000btu's ideal floor standing cf boiler, switched fused spur on, boiler fires, reduce thermostat to zero, boiler remains on full flame, replaced both pcb's & thermostat. Same problem - no thermostatic control. Any ideas on what problem could be
