Plumbing Cost

Hey guys. My Mother-in-law has plumbing problems. The house is old, maybe 1940 with galvanized drains. She needs a kitchen faucet, bath vanity faucet, flexible supplies, and traps. My wife & I are helping her out. Any guesses what this is going to cost us? 50m NW of Chicago. MIL jokes allowed with prices. Thanks.

Dave

Probably near three hrs. labor with invoicing.Who's providing the material? You may get hourly rates or flat-rate bids. The prices will vary.

She's talking about getting the fixtures, I'm trying to talk her out of it.

Re: Plumbing Cost

In very round numbers, is this going to be about as much as a water heater?

Re: Plumbing Cost

Probably 250. - 400. in labor [depends on who you call.]Lot of variables on prices of fixtures.Total could be 400. and up for total job,the 400. is for low-end fixtures plus labor. That's as close as I can get you.

Thanks, I'll be dancing on a table if it's under $600.

If your near Rockford/Belvedere you should be able to get that done for about that, if you don't mind off brand faucets, if you get quoted a lot more than that they are trying to take your money and run, unless there is more work than you described.

Re: Plumbing Cost

Why don't you call a Plumbing company out for an estimate?
