Pedistal Sink On Concrete Floor


Just wondering what the best way to install a pedistal sink over a concrete floor with tile. ? as far as attaching the leg to the floor. thanks for your help

You mean attaching to the tile not the slab don't you?

Pedastels are a pain in the a--, drill and anchors are the best way to secure to floor I also use chaulking on the base both top and bottom to enhance the securing.

Install the tile, then the pedestal sink, I never have anchored any of the bottom sections, the top part get's anchored to the wall, good idea to have a 2x behind that section to bolt into.

As for the bottom on the tile, just caulk around the base with a matching color to the grout, that's all there is to it.
