One Of The Calls I Got Today.

I got a call today about installing an easywater softener. I've seen these on TV. But never installed one. So I look it up on the internet- No plumbing involved. Just wrap a wire around the copper pipe and plug it in and zaa zam good water. So should an electrcian install these??? Have any of you folks put one in yet?
