Need Ways To Vent Out Basement Bath

Have a basement bathroom and small kitchen going in. There is no way of tying into main vent. There is a waste line coming in from the sewer in the street (separate from the main line for the rest of the house) so i'm starting from scratch. The only vent pipe i may be able to get access to is a 2" about 10 ft away.I know if some of these problem exist upstairs an island could be used, is it also appropriate for anything in the basement? shouldn't this new line require a house Trap or a house vent out thru the foundation.

I have done some 1st and 2nd story plumbing but this basement stuff is a little different for me with limited venting options and starting with nothing. I'd like to get it right the first time.
One more question should the waste pipes being put under a cement floor be cast iron ? I see some plumbers that use both plastic and cast iron.

Re: Need Ways To Vent Out Basement Bath

I am not sure about your codes, but where I am in Alberta Canada, some plumbers us a cheater vent, they install it in the cabinet, it is like a check valve, air is allowed in but sewer gas can't get out. As for the pipe, most plumbers use plastic ABS here, even if there is existing cast they are tieing into. All the best.
