Need Plumbers Opinions

Hello Plumbing Pros,

My company has recently started providing what we call a total service package for plumbers when you need trenches. Some plumbers were expressing how they wish that sawing contractors could do more than just saw and also about how some of them passed up jobs because they weren't large enough to handle it and didn't want to hire a guy to saw, another guy to remove, another to excavate, another to backfill, and another to dowel and pourback. So we invested in an electric saw, we already had an electric and diesel mini excavator, brokk robot, we have bobcats, roll off trucks, and a small dump truck. So we acquired some crew members with skills in the areas we were not already strong at and have done projects for some plumbers that has been very successful. We have allowed some smaller plumbing pros to bid on larger jobs that they wouldn't have normally bid on and we've helped some larger plumbing pros to save on some labor cost with our speciality equipment and "one stop shop" approach. We do everything from sawing, removal/disposal of concrete, excavate/dispose of debris, hauling in and placing backfill and pouring back concrete. As far as I know we are the only contractor in our area that provides this total service. It is just starting to catch on, but in order to best service this new niche of customers that we want to serve, I'd like to know what are your biggest headaches or concerns. How would you all like a service like this. In what ways would it more or less appealing to you. It seems that some of the plumbing pros are a bit set in their ways and hesitant to change to this more efficient way. Maybe with some of your insight we can properly convey this message. I'm definitely getting some testimonials together from our currents clients who have loved the service. I want plumbing pros in the area to know that this benefits them not just us. Thanks for any and all input.

Kerry
