Most Efficient Cost Effective Radiant Floor Setup
Haven't asked my plumber yet, but anyone have opinions on which radiant systems are the most efficient, but also won't kill in the installation process. Basically the two I am comparing are staple up underneath the subfloor and some type of screw down panels on top of the subfloor. Hardwood floor over most of the radiant. Pros I can think of. staple up probably cheaper, but I don't know if it runs as efficiently. using panels is more pricey but may allow a lower water temp. Drain back system with no glycol anywhere. Thanks, nick.

No no. I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I typed that. It isn't a solar system. forget I said drainback. It just won't have glycol in the system.

Re: Most Efficient Cost Effective Radiant Floor Setup
I dont think under the subfloor can compare to a topside installation, check out STADLER i used this system under hardwood a few years ago, nice stuff to work with G.
