Leaky Waterfall Faucet In Hot Tub

recently had a hot tub installed for client. after running water and shutting of hot and cold valves. faucet drips. if i run my fingers along the lip of waterfall it drips even more. i did that for five minutes and got good amount of water to keep coming out. it never did seem to stop.

I called my plumber and he said valves seem to be good. are there some type of adjustments to make for waterfall spouts? or is it probably just a bad spout? This spout is built into the tub also.

Even if a stem may seem good does not mean it is. Replace the stems.

If it is a Jacuzzi brand integral waterfall filler, they use a variety of cheap stems, mostly Nibco. If it is a Kohler, it probably has a nick in the ceramic on the bottom of the cartridge, in either case you need to replace the cartridge.
