Leak Detection Gases,which One Squeals/whistles
Good-morning.I spent 5 hrs. yesterday in and under a home which has quite a few leaks in the gas dist. system.I've got a few fittings I can't physically get to to admininster leak detect solution or get close enough for my sniffer to test.I remember hearing somewhere there is a gas that really whistles when it is introduced into the system and leaks.I don't think it was helium.I think it was nitrogen but it could be hydrogen.I have bein doing exhaustive searches but have not found the answers.Anyone have any insight.First time since I can remember that I can't find all the leaks.Thanks.
