I am thinking something real contempory,similar to what Doug had seen except putting the slate behind the glass. We are putting frameless (minimal metal frame) glass rails on the interior and exterior landing. Slate is being used in the house so that is a good product, my issue now besides design is maintainability for cleaning and servicing. It is in a stair well, the home owner will need to purchase those fancy stairwell ladders for who ever is servicing.
This is going to be interesting to see how this plays out. It is not really a item you can pick up the phone and ask to have made or done. It looks like it is going to involve Plumbing, Tile, Mechanical, Carpenters and glass. Someone is going to need to re-do the budget, Bigtime......

I believe those are napoleon waterfalls. They are just decorative. As far a waterfalls indoors the new hearst building in NYC uses an indoor waterfall to regulate indoor temperatures. It is very large
