Well I am sorry the home owner was screwing with you however, you have done work that a permit was pulled and inspected so there for the work you have done has to be up to code and then you may cancel the permit. At least that is the way we deal with it here.
Good Luck

Re: Inspector Woes

You should have to fix it. You don't get paid to bring YOUR work back into code. Why should the home owner have to pay twice for the same job. That said, this brings up an interesting thought (for me at least). If the HO stiffed you for all or part of a section of the job....say Rough drains. The inspector fails the drain install, would you THEN still be obligated to fix it?

You should go back and fix it for not pulling your license from the job when you decided to leave it.

Re: Inspector Woes

You mentioned money issues. Did the homeowner ever pay you or intend to not pay you for the work?
