HWH Repl In Crawl Space
I see hwh are no longer replaced in a crawl space but put in an outdoor utility cabinet. Does this apply to gas as well as electric units ?

It really depends on your state code, local ordinances, county ordinances and architects specs, you would probably be best served to check with your licensed plumber in your area to verify.
