hottub access panel location in closet

I'm laying out a master bath with a 6' hottub. what is permissable in terms of location of the access panel? Can it be accessed via the rear of a closet located in an adjacent hall?

As long as the pump can be removed ~ you're good to go.
Ever see how small some of access panels are on the factory units?
Keep that in mind as you put a decent sized one in that closet space.
