Hot And Cold Mixing

Pressure at all outlets was ok, but not great before any work was done. We installed a hot water heater, at remodel due to leakage. After the install the customer complained about, not being able to adjust water as they did before. When you have both faucets open fully the water temp is cold, but closing cold valve and opening it a little, water temp is perfect. We cheched and found that hot and cold volume and pressure to be ok. We checked all mixing valves and faucets for dirt or blockage, nothing.

Re: Hot And Cold Mixing

were the fittings sweated on the W.H. ? If so the tube in the tank most likely was melted and dropped down in the tank ,may even have a cross connection somewheres, my guess.
