Have A ??
im not a plumber,i dont even play one on tv.so that's out of the way,i have a question.
i am remodeling a home for myself to live in.decided to make my bathroom bigger by blowing out a wall into a closet.the only thing i am moving is my sink, basically other side of where it was(into where the closet was).it drained into a cast iron pipe.about 6 inch in diameter.the opening for the sink drain is about 3 inch which has been reduced to around 1 1/2(reduced with lead).the original drain pipe was metal, but i am going back with pvc. my question is,how would i seal off the cast iron opening after i insert my pvc?the cast iron runs out my roof. or directly below my bathroom is a room with hot water heater and all water lines and such.there is a drain pipe running from my kitchen sink to my sewer line. can i put a tee in that line and run it up to my sink without having to add a vent?would the toilet(sewer drain)have enough vent to vent my sink also. thanks in advance guys.
