Has Anybody Tried...??

Has anyone tried GE's line of water softeners. I am considering thier 30,200 grain model for my own home. The contractor's pricing seems very good.
Thanks

I've seen them in customers homes and have generally regarded them as scrap material. You get what you pay for.
