Going Rate
What's the going rate per opening now?
I am a newly licensed Master Plumber and I've only worked for commercial outfits in the past and nothing like this is ever discussed. . Just progress meetings and change orders, haha. |

Re: Going Rate
Be more concerned about what you have to have to run your business properly and make a profit than what the going rate is.

Re: Going Rate
The going rate has left the building.

Re: Going Rate
"The Going Rate" is a myth; it doesn't exist. Even if it did you wouldn't want east coast prices if you live in SoCal. You might want to fill out the location part of your profile.

Re: Going Rate
You're right. If the OP wants to rephrase his question I'm all in to help where I can. Answering with numbers to the going rate question only feeds the myth.
So Bob, Setting your rate is not trade specific. You must know your overhead and set your income and profit goals for starters. I know from experience that using someone else's number is nearly always detrimental to your business. We can help but the answer is only calculated by yourself. Good Luck Dave

Re: Going Rate
The second post was the best advice this guy will ever get on how much to charge. Yes, I made it. But it the idea wasn't original with me so I get no credit for the idea.
But yeah, he got the best advice that could be given right there. Puzzled why you think we weren't much help. |

Mahlere tends a bit to the dry side. I'd suggest a nice riesling if you prefer something sweeter.
