Garage Floor Drain...big Dilemma.

The PO of my home had poured a leveling concrete over the garage floor that had originally had a floor drain. I am chipping up the floor and the drain piece is extremely rusted and the pipe looks to be clogged about a foot down with debris. It had been capped so the leveling concrete did not go down the drain.

Is this a job for a plumber or a concrete guy?

Call the plumber, if he does'nt deal directly with concrete replacement if necessary he will know a guy. As far as cutting out the old if necessary-3 of the plumbing subs I use do that themselves since they're their own plumber/re-do crew dealing with misplaced rough ins.

Plumber you may want to have him run an inspection camera down the line after it is cleared to see if it is still useable if this is your intention

I would flush about 18,000 gallons of water down the hole to teach someone a lesson...
