Question Flat plate heat exchanger

Hey boys, quick question, we are in the process of installing a greenwood wood burning furnace, here in NEW YORK we are not overly familiar with wood burners. I am certain we are overthinking it, the system is very basic in nature. We are currently researching flat plate heat exchangers, my furnace put out 100,000 BTU'S, we are told by the supply house that BP12M-20 IS A 75,000 BTU unit will regulate up to 108,000 BTU max, does that make sense? will a heat plate exchanger range its output in that way? thanks G.

ANYONE, the plate exchanger came in, it is made by {DIVERSIFIED HEAT TRANSFER INC} MODEL# M12-20. its about 7 1/2'' ht x 3'' w x 2'' thick, it has about 16 plates, with 3/4'' tappings. Looking at it, 100,000 btu seems like alot given the size of this exchanger. The supply yard says its good, i am looking for some more input, thanks G....

I dont know much about them but i opted for a 70 plate heat exchanger for my outdoor wood boiler. I dont have it hooked up yet but a friend of mine has a 50 plate in his home for his boiler and it works great.
