Faucet Bib

I have an outside frost free faucet that is leaking. My understanding is that you can't fix this because the shut-off is deep inside the unit.
Is this true??

Unscrewing or unsoldering the unit is also a challenge, because the area was remodeled over.

Any suggestions??

It is below the first floor, but above the basement ceiling.

Can you see the connection from in the basement, if it screws in, it can be replaced.

No, that's just it I can't see the connection from the ceiling--it was remodeled over. I'm going to go back though and see if I can pull a nearby recessed light for accessibility.

Meantime......can the leak be fixed from the valve outside???

Sometimes the inneards will come out, we just replace to whole fauset, it should unscrew from there, it'd just a matter of seeing how easy it will come out of there.

Who knowns it might just unscrew easily.
