Covering Up Bad Smell

I'm taking a stab at this-wondering if some of you plumbers would know/heard of the use of vanilla extract solution being sprayed in a crawlspace to neutralize the the oldor of a failed drain pipe.

Do you have any recommendation for covering up this sewer smell (soure was repaired.

Re: Covering Up Bad Smell

Check with your local plumbers and see if any are selling a product called Bio-Clean.

Mix this down with warm water and spray in the effected area and soak it well. It will take care of the smell in short order. It also cleans the spill and turns it into something non-toxic.

Covering the smell with another smell won't address the problem, just the symptom.
