Question Buried 250 gallon propane tank

Looking to bury a LP tank for my own home, use for cooking, maybe a dryer, maybe a small lp fireplace. The LP guys around here seem to have a bit of a monopoly, bad attitudes, and limited info. I would like to, with the assistance of my licensed plumber install my own tank, Who can i purchase a tank from for burial ? not turning up to much with google search. Any reason to let the LP company do the install, and supply the tank? Thanks G

they've got a monopoly all over the place. try the classified ads/craigslist.

I did the legwork for you, now enjoy.... http://cgi.ebay.com/266fk-S-Scale-25...3A1%7C294%3A50

If that one is to small for your needs, try this one: http://southjersey.craigslist.org/tls/1135099789.html

Hey Gene, acouple of propane suppliers near me, (Im right near you in new england) got hammered because they decided to all charge more for the propane (about 50% more)and in some cases they refused to deliver to people that owned and were not renting their equipment.I dont know about saving 1.50 a gallon outright?? You are right about their attitudes, they are terrible.I am switching to gasoline forklifts at the earliest possible moment.
