Building A Few Showers From Scratch . . .

I am new at compleely remodeling bathrooms and my plumber is surprised at how many jets my one client wants in their 6ft by 42" shower. He is looking for a 'man car wash' if you will. So I ask how many jets is too many?

Drawing is not my speciality but I thought a hand held on wall 3 where a corner bench could be, then on wall 2 have 3 straight off the wall sprays and two higher tilted off the wall sprays spraying down and the same on wall one along with and larger round spray and a rain shower over head.

Would that be like a man car wash?

I've seen as many as 13 in a 4' x 7'. 6 body sprayers, 2 shower heads on both ends, a handheld, and four in the ceiling. And yes, the window is clear glass. The bathroom faces a canyon so there were no houses for about a half mile. This is a house from the end of last year.

I have a design for my personal shower that has 19 jets.
Wall 1 has 3 inline.
Wall 2 has 3 inline.
Wall 3 has 3 inline.
Wall 4 has 6 inline.
Ceiling has 4 fiber optic rainheads.
No windows at all.
Bench seat.
Corner shampoo cove.

Seriously, It is a car wash. This shower is designed to be 60" x 92".

OK thanks everyone, now I know that I am on the right track. The only problem I will run into is that it is a vaulted ceiling so we will have to get a little creative with the rainshower.

May want to post this on an irrigation forum. Toro and Rainbird may be thinking about getting into getting into bathrooms.
