Boring Bit
Does anyone know of a special boring bit to basically drill out internally mounted PVC pipe fittings? Can you post a pic or forward and link?

Several plumbing specialties companies make them.
This is one marketed by Pasco that I've used. Works well.  Its called a Ram bit. Order online here. http://www.plumbingsupply.com/pvcsaver.html Put a rag down below the work area in the pipe to keep the shavings out.

If you need higher quality, Wheeler Rex makes some as well that look more like the ones MD shows in his link.
