Booster Pumps

Guys I need some help. I had a plumber plumb an upstairs bath for a HO i am doing a big remodel for, the HO hired and paid the plumber themselves. He has been paid in full and as usual has not finished and doesn't return calls or show up anymore. The problem is that the shower doesn't seem to have enough pressure, it is upstairs at the end of 120' of 3/4 pipe but is feeding multiple heads. As soon as we turn on the 6 sports heads the last 2 on the lindont even trickle unless I block the heads in the beginning of the line. My question is can I install a booster pump in line to help? Any thoughts?

Re: Booster Pumps

Multiple heads are supposed to be piped in a loop, if memory serves.

There are booster pumps for a single unit, like a shower. Check out the Grundfos website. The last big bathroom remodel I was on featured two in the bathroom, installed inside the vanity. One for cold, one for hot, both with small bladder tanks.

Re: Booster Pumps

The biggest problem is the size of the tubing, what was he thinking, that ammount of run and with that type load.
I would have at least run a 1-1/4 line for this type design, in Mass we cannot boost to overcome the lack of volume do to pipe size.
