Also, the worst leaks to deal with are also the ones that are in no way the fault of the toilet or the installation. I've had to take and wipe some of it up for the client to smell. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, then it ain't gonna be swimming in what the pre-teen failed to get in the pot. Another problem with that type of warranty is offering it on something other than a one-piece toilet. People are weird and some will actually recline and lean against the tank causing a leak at the spud gasket or tank bolts. There is no warranty on operator error, but trying to convince them that the water is coming from bolts and not the wax will be an uphill battle.
