B- for constructive use of on-hand materials, but a D- for form and function.

I'd give it a solid 6 on the dumbass scale. It has a nice beat and you can dance to it.

Would that constitute an "S" trap?
Or a super "S" trap?
Seriously.
I'm curious.

No it wouldn't, but no more than one trap per fixture is the norm for most if not all model codes.

A double trapped fixture can become airbound.

Really like the abundant use of putty on all the pvc connections....seems he could have found at least one more extension tube to bring it up level with the brass stuff tho.....

Re: 3 P-traps O.k. ?--WTF!

Plumbers can always amaze. My kitchen sink is hard-plumbed 1 1/2" PVC. Two drains, two traps made with 90's. I think that he was charging by the fitting.

Tes it is an "s" trap, look at it. It's a code failure, no matter what.

Re: 3 P-traps O.k. ?--WTF!

Help me out, I'm not seeing it. I see one p-trap, followed by a second p-trap acting as 1/4 bend, and the third p-trap going into the wall.

Technically, this sink is only double trapped. Both traps that are holding water are in the horizontal, and the final exit direction is horizontal. The second trap is not going to siphon if the waste arm and vent are properly sized, pitched and installed in the wall. If an s-trap were kludged up here, it would be cake to get it to siphon.

S-traps outlet vertically, not horizontally. Same with 3/4 s-traps, the outlet is vertical, not horizontal.

I'm not seeing it.

Is that a big blob of caulk where it comes out of the wall?
