Thats a light I bought at the home depot,Its a husky flourecent light,It throws light all the way around,$60.00.

Drywaller, I really think what you built above the fan looks super cool !! But what trim tech products did you use to make it? It looks like metal studs & wood & plywood.
Also how did you support the electrical fan box, 2x4 between the braces around the plywood ?

Yes it is plywood and small 2x4s in between,The plywood screwed to the ceiling.Also 1 5/8" metal track,studs As I did use for all the soffit also.Metal studs work real nice for straight soffits.(No warping)

As for the trim tex I used 350 bull beads and magic corner at the edges,On soffit I used 11/2" bullnose and 3/4" bullnose on other parts.

Here is a contractors own house I worked on earlier this year,He will be doing most of it in wood but wanted a way to end it with my drywall.
Also have been very busy working at Santas village ,They gave me 4 buildings to rock and tape.
