Shale Pit And Dozer

Here are a couple pics of us stripping topsoil in our shale pit to rip more shale. My dad is on the 977.

Re: Shale Pit And Dozer

Here is a dozer that we just bought. It is a 88' TD15E with only 1700 original hrs.

Re: Shale Pit And Dozer

It would be nice to have shale rock around here for base material.

Looks like a good buy on the dozer rino.

Joe, a guy that had a business was retiring and that is how we got it.

Nick, we have 45 acres of land and it is very plentiful in shale and topsoil. As you can see, there isn't much dirt on top of that shale. There is enough shale there to last my lifetime. I'll sell you some, $900 a load delivered

You can't mine any lower than the lowest part of the permitted property. We have 5 acres permitted now and luckily it is on a slope. Right where the dozer sits, we will be about 25-30 feet deep.
