I wish I had the reach of your 315 to shape mounds with. That is some nice clean looking work there. Do engineers let you on the mound to push sand with smaller tracked vehicles? Around here we can push sand with minis, or tracked Skidsteers as long as they are under 10k according to most engineers. But hell the engineer only came out for squirt test mine before I backfilled. |

I install the sand first, then hand dig the 2" delivery line into the sand with a shovel to ensure pitch back to the tank. I didn't take a pic of that, i forgot to. Yes, sometimes I will install the sand in the absorbtion area with a dozer. The inspector on this job was going away for a few days. He told me just to take a pic of the test. He has done more inspections on us for sandmounds than I can count. BTW Tom, yes fabric is a option to cover the stone, but hay is cheaper and besides, we already have it on site to seed and mulch the mound.
