Diner demo

This is a small diner that we demo'ed for a customer or ours. He plans to put up a building to rent out. He held a auction and they auctioned off everything including the siding, windows, gutters, copper, etc...

315 just turned 5,000 hrs. No complaints about that machine, it has been a good machine.

It does look like a nice clean job rino.

What brand thumb do you have on that machine?

How does that wide tine thumb handle rocks?

I sneak over here for a
peek every now and then.
For nostalgia's sake.

It's always strange to hear
these called "excavators"
They'll always be Hopto's
to me.
The excavator is
the guy in the cab.

It is a Bodine thumb. We also have a Bodine on our Kobelco. We do alot of lot clearing, digging stumps and setting boulders and it has held up real well. I did get a rock b/n one of the splines and the force of the bucket bent it out. Still works good though. Would be nice to have a hyd. thumb though.

BTW.......if you look in the last pic I posted, you can see that the middle spline is bent out.
