Deere Rock Truck With Spreader Box


This is one of the two rock trucks that have been converted to **** spreaders. The company I'm with as the rock truck foreman uses these machines for cleaning **** from big feedlots and spreading them off fields. They are pretty slick

Oh ya! And they are huge! They will sink down at least an inch on the gravel road when they are fully loaded. But they can go places in the field that our tandem and tri-drive spreaders can't

Yep! If I remember correctly it costed us over $300 000 and we bill out at $200 an hour for each

I don't know what the mpg is on them but they'll go through 50-60 gallons of fuel a day running flat out. that's pretty efficient

Just out of curiousity why did they go with horizontal beaters instead of vertical.
