Billboard footings

These are some footings that I dug for 2 billboards. It was for a company from Berlin, CT. The company name was Ultra-Lum Services (ULS) and the owner's name was Greg Ziomek, in case anyone from CT knows him. One footer was 6'x6' and 11' deep. It took 14yds of concrete. The other was 23'x 15' I believe and was 5' deep. That one took 70yds of concrete. Also, it was 5' from a 8" HP gas main that was pressurized at 500lbs.

They are probably out there working because our CT Govenor waants to take down all those ugly bilboards in this state.

rino, did we neglect to tell you of the E&SW fall meeting that we have scheduled at your house? We all needs directions, and Day needs to book a flight. We voted at the Thursday night chat.

Thanks for the good pictures.

While billboards generate much dollares, they are the most obtrusive landscape feature of all! Followed closely by utility lines and poles.

Beyond that.......................Cool pics and work!

Anyone seen the Dirty Jobs edition of billboard erection?

Yes, it was very interesting! It seemed Mike wasn't real fond of the work, even less so when the lightning storm came by.

I used to work for a company that ran the power to and wired/lighted up the billboards, never really got to see them erected though.

2001 315CL with 5,200 hrs.

Hey Tom, I didn't find any bodies in there. Although when loading the truck, I had to swing over the headstones. I had to shake the bucket everytime before I swung.
