CT,

Nice picture's clean looking site! Did you pay all the extra's to walk through the pictures? Is that you on the phone?

Please don't tell me that excavator boom is up in the air with no one in the cab! I'm hoping it's just my old eye's. It's an unforgivable mistake on my jobsite to leave any hydraulic attachment off the ground ever!

Re: Acouple Of New Shots

Good looking soil. We don't have that here. High plastic soils are very common here.

Finally some nice weather before it turns into summer. Pictures are a great way to document the work you accomplish over the years, even if you don't start a web site.

I still can't see the operator missing from the 'ho, just my bad eyes.

I'm kinda curious about the pipe support though. We used to drag the spoil back into the ditch about 3 places per length. I'm old and just curious.

Right! I mostly see black corrugated polyethylene pipe used for that application. I suspect the cost is close with either material.

I see a couple people using that, but most, including myself use S&D. I bed all my rain leaders with 2A modified.

Re: Acouple Of New Shots

I personally like SDR better than coorguated as the smooth walls make it almost impossible for silt and leaves to stay in the pipe. The coorguated traps the silt in the deep grooves. We also use cleanouts on the Leader Drains

I also like to backfill with gravel at least 12" above the pipe. Makes future locating much easier. Does anyone else use that Water/Sewer/Gas/Electric Tape 12" above the pipe?
