Sil Fos should do the trick
the big problem is dealing with the vibration of generator running and towing the trailer which both will tend to break the joint. You will need a flex coupling in there somewhere. they do make them for certain cars (99 camry comes to mind immediatley)

Re: Brazing Steel And Brass

I was going to use an off the shelf 1/2 gas range hookup kit (1/2" flexible tube like a bendy straw, quite flexible, with 1/2" flare nuts) the pipe comming off the gen has a 5/8" od, I planned to braze on the comp nut and make the connection with a 1/2" flare-mip , and braze the mip-nut-muffler
again tia

Re: Brazing Steel And Brass

that should take care of the vibration problem
the stick silver solder you can get at a refrigeration supply will work fine.
it's expensive relativley and needs a lot of heat to get to flow but works well.

You really need to jump up the size of the extension.

Check out link below, the boat crowd does this all the time.
