Work at Hospital's

I am bidding a sub-contract for a hospital project locally in Florida. I've talked to a few different people and some have said that a contractor must have special qualifications/licensing to work in hospitals.
Is this true??? Does anybody have any experience or knowledge that could be helpful???
TIA!!!

We've done work at hospitals, usually in their blood labs installing high purity water systems. First time I've ever heard of special quals, but I'm up in NJ. Might be different in your area. Most we ever have to deal with is the state paperwork on prevailing wages, and the product and system specific quality control documents (weld maps, passivation, material certs), but those go with any water system job.

Best thing for you to do is just pick the phone up and call the hospital's purchasing department and ask.
