Raising Catch Basins: What is the process?

Hello all,

I am an asphalt maintenance contractor. I do seal coating, line painting, and minor patching.

Within the next couple of years I would like to expand into minor asphalt construction type work.

Many of my competitors seem to be lifting catch basins quite often. I was hoping some of you guys could give me an idea on how it is done, what kind of equiptment is needed, and the cost in materials to do the job (I realize the last question may not be one that is "okay" and that is fine).

Any advice etc. is appreciated!

Are you raising them 2" or 2 feet? Most minor adjustments are done with bricks and mortar, and anything higher usually uses block or precast sections.
