Hollow metal welded frames welded into structual steel

The print calls for hollow metal welded frames spot welded into structual steel openings every 16 inches, on the exterior of the building im working on. Ive borrowed the iron workers welder and welded all the frames, ive been welding the steel to the frame and trying my best not to burn a hole in the frame. Does anyone have any pictures or know how well these frames are going to hold up overtime?

As long as the welds are proper there should be no problems. Light gauge (20 ga. and up) to structural is common on commercial work.
