Hanging Armstrong Silhouette grid

Hey guys,
This is my first post here. I am a Maintenance Mechanic for a corperation on Long Island in NY. Basically me and my crew are a mini construction company on the payroll of the Corporation. We do a ton of construction due to the nature of the industry we are in. I have 14 years experience in hanging ceilings, steel stud construction, cabinet making, masonary, flooring....etc.

I am used to working with USG Firegaurd ceiling grid. sometimes armstrong prelude, but mostly USG. Has anyone here worked with Armstrong Silhouette grid? We are doing a job that requires 3 different heights for the ceiling in the same room. With sheetrock on the sides to make up the height difference. Axiom trim to cover the edges. Anyone have any tips?
Thanks

I hung a small isolated ceiling using this stuff as a test area for a bigger project. It is a bit of a pain in the butt. The narrow 9/16 wall angle doesn't hold the 4' tees too well. There is so much less room for error and your cuts along the wall need to be percise. The mains don't sit on the angle too well either. The narrow bottom and bolt slot on the bottom don't allow it.
So if anyone else out there plans on doing this ceiling, it is much more work, although it does look pretty nice when completed. I had to order different transition brackets to install 8' long by 6" wide slot lighting. Armstrong does offer a wide variety of accessories to accomidate different designs.
