The Construction Bluebook

Met with a salesman Friday. To have your name in the Book it is free. The small ads start at about $140.00 per month, and is a two year contract. I don't mind spending the money if this is a good way to market my company.
Have you guys had luck with the Bluebook?
Do GC's use the Blue Book?

I have the free listing only, I average 8-10 emails per month for ITB's.

What more are you expecting for the $ 140.00/mth?

We were in the blue book for a number of years with a fair sized ad. We got a few ITB from commercial contractors but not a tremendous amount. At the time we were building retaining walls and installing pavers which are not needed on every job. For us it was not worth the money we spent.

I do not think were ever contacted by residential GC from the blue book. We got most of our commercial leads from one of the local reproprinting companies' plan room.
