Re: Want To Start Paving

Start small with driveways and patches and what not. You will need atleast 1 dump truck(usually makes things more convenient); a small roller with rubber tires on back and drum on front; paver; plate tamp; lutes; shovels; rakes; something to carry your tack(tar); brooms; a sprayer or two to spray tools/paver with diesel fuel(helps asphalt not stick) Thats about all you need really unless you are planning on setting up the stone for paving also of which you will then need whatever machine you prefer to spread the stone etc... You can start most times with 1 small dump track a trailer to move your paving equipment and maybe haul sometimes..Its not hard to come by people now looking to give you a good deal on hauling just so they can get the job..Hope this helps!
