Question

PH Going North To South

I have a theory. As I move north to south in the USA the concrete slabs get a higher and higher pH. I think this has to do with the aggregate. I'd like to see if any of you have found this to be true. Crete tends to be local rather than regional so I ask here.

I've been reading "Concrete Floors and Moisture" http://www.cement.org/bookstore/profile.asp?store=&pagenum=1&pos=0&catID=&id=6435

It does not talk about this. But my experience is showing more and more pH problems as I move south from Washington and South through California. I think that this has to be related to the aggregate in different areas. Or perhaps it has to do with mixtures requiring more water as you move into dryer climates. Is there any resource from which I could draw from to figure this out?
