Leeboy Walk Behind Curb Machine

Has anyone ever seen the Leeboy LBC 24 W in action or worked with one just looking for everyone's opinion. Was thinking potontially about purchasing one.

I thought about buying one once but after some investigation was convinced otherwise. There's really only 3 makers worth talking to. Gomaco and Powercurber are top of the heap with their GT3600 and 5700SB. Miller runs a very distant 3rd. You might make some mjoney with a Leeboy but it's uses are limited. If you buy one you'll eventually wish you had gotten a bigger machine

Re: Leeboy Walk Behind Curb Machine

Well Curb our market is full of big machines I was thinking of filling a small niche in the under 5000 area, I know the Gomaco is superior, but with the Leeboy I was thinking, about smaller crew size, lower overhead, etc. Thoughts?

Please let me know if you get one how well it works. I really am curious. I've always been advised against it, and it'd be interesting to see if it works

never seen the Leeboy work either, but I am curious. I have a Gomaco 3200 and it is great in little parking lots and subdivisions. BTW--curbguy--what are you running?

another thought. don't know what you are looking for exactly, but Mike at slip-tech in Columbus OH makes a walk behind machine that seems interesting. Google slip-tech.

Re: Leeboy Walk Behind Curb Machine

Curbguy, do you have a good formula for figuring out how far one yard of concrete would go on any given style of curb and gutter?

Re: Leeboy Walk Behind Curb Machine

figuring yardage is more of an experience based. it will depend on size of curb and grade of rock. Post a dimension and I can try to get it close.
