Foundation Pour
im pouring a footing at 33"w x 18"d x 24'l. the top of my lowest grade is 18" below my existing footing. can i step the dirt 6" every 8' to raise my 18" to the height of my existing so i can dowel in or do i have to pour the steps and cut my bottom depth at 18" below lowest grade? i'm in california

I dont really understand what you have but here we go step your footing or floor or whatever you have (i could expain every step) if it a footing step it then grade your dirt at subgrade all the same hope that is what you need
