Solidworks to Sketchup

One of our manufacturers uses Solidworks to model their products and sent me a copy of the items (boat lifts) we buy in Solidworks STL format.

Have any of you been successful converting a Solidworks file to Sketchup? This would save me so much time.

Try this out and see if it works. I don't know if it works, I just came across it and installed the plugin to see if something was actually there. After install, you will find it (at least on my machine) under Tools>CADSpan Tools>Import Geometry

Stl

That didn't work but I emailed their technicians to see if I can pay them for the conversion. Thanks for the lead.
