Mutoh pg-05 Battery Replacement

Good Morning,

I am new to the forum and am looking forward to getting to know the other members. I also look forward to learning from others experiences and knowledge.

I found the forum via a search regarding good old fashioned drafting equiptment. Ya know - pencils and scales. Although I am CAD / CAM fluent I have been hand drafting for 30 years. I find it theraputic.

Now for the mysterious question. I picked up a Mutoh PG-05 drafting head at a garage sale along with 2 machines, an electric table and a bunch of other stuff.

I have searched for manuals, instructions or any info and found none.

How do I change the battery in the head? I consider myself fairly mechanically knowledgeable but this one has me stumped.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Halfshaft

Hi Halfshaft, I have a Mutoh PG-05 as well that I have had from new. Any chance of sharing how you changed the battery. I have pulled it apart a few times and its not very obvious.
