2 different animals drafting on paper and drafting on a computer. With a computer if you make a mistake it is really not a big deal. With paper you need to erase and it shows, it always shows.

I use CAD and eCabs to do all of my drawing and rendering. I know I can do the paper style if I had to though.

Yeah i used to get my work marked down for "erasures". I think my Jr High teacher used that funky green paper just to make our erasures stand out.
they were gonna teach us "inking' in high school but i changed classes before I even managed to get ink to stay in between the two adjustable faces of them weird inking pens without immediately running out onto the paper

As long as you can make the drawings understandable to who ever needs to know then you have done a good job.

Sometimes I look at my stuff and think "hey that looks pretty good" but it can always look prettier or better in some way. Just as long as it passes the plan check though I am cool with it.

Let's see some examples guys.

I'll be the first realizing that there is nearly always something that is missed in a fairly large remodel or addition, not to mention a new build.

Andy.

Good stuff, as always Andy. I've only drawn what I may or may not build...I've always been glad to have the opportunity to give it a shot, and go from there.
