Cad 2000

Ok, I'll start.

At the bottom of the drawing area there is a bar with 'ortho', 'osnap' etc. on it. Opened up cad2000 after upgrading the pc to xp and the bar is gone, I can get to it other ways (keyboard) but where is it and how do I get it back? Tks, Rich.

Did you reload the program after you installed xp, xp is different. That is where I would start first, if not check your preferences 2nd.

I'm not positive but try right clicking where you normally see it. There should be a menu that comes up. Click the ones your looking for.

CE1, I take it you don't have that on your screen? I used to...

I'm gonna un- and re-install, see if that helps.

Well, never got around to the un- and re-, but open cad 2000 today and it's all there! Some things about computers totally floor me!! Tks for the input, Rich.
