You can recognize a bedbug infestation by the following signs:
  • You will experience the symptoms of a bedbug bite such as itching or a rash.

  • In addition to blood, dark stains from the creatures' fecal matter will also be present on the bedding.

Are you sure it bed bugs? They look like they could be ringworm. They are highly contagious. I got them a few times during my high school wrestling days.

There is a guy in my hometown that has a dog that sniffs out bedbug infestation.

Contracts out to hotels and stuff to check for bedbugs, mostly after oilfield workers have moved out

My mother used to talk about when she was a child to have to deal with them. Now I guess they are making a big comeback. Can't remember where, midwest? Ohio? Arkansas? Nasty little ****ers.

Tough to tell from the pic but I tend to agree it may not be a bed bug bite. Never forget the 'luggage' as that is probably how you transported them in.
