Wow look at all the new posters.......

Wonder if the "green people" surrounding our white house has anything to do with this.......Everyone and their brother is going to have some new high tech insulating product (along with others) in the near future....I'll be glad to wait it out and let mythbusters handle this....

radiant sheathing insulation has been around for many years in some form or another,there's got to be some reason why it not an industry standard
if the testing and the product is so good why aren't the big names pushing it,seems like its always small independent distributors/manufacturers marketing this stuff,not saying thats bad...just saying

If you're "into" Rb's you know that the reflective properties are useless when they're in contact with any solid surface. The RB needs air to work properly. It will actually conduct heat and cold when in contact with such a surface virtually negating and insulating gains it might otherwise have.
